SUMMER 2023
summer is just around the corner…
and after 16 months since the beginning of the European cooperation project Wall Dialogue Resistance, which has seen us engaged in several residencies, we are about to meet again all, partners and artists involved,
for the final event in Cagliari from 25 to 27 June
to share, after a period of time apart, stories and new explorations, echo and treasure of an intense and very dense experience, through thematic meetings and an installation that will gather all the elaborated artistic products: storytelling, podcasts, films, music, videos plus an itinerant and immersive performance around the experience of darkness.
An opportunity to give space to sensitive actions through the languages of performance arts that highlights all the vulnerability and necessity of our bodies in presence and connection. Let’s the irreplaceable experience of the encounter make us surprised, as a rare and precious thing, a perfect conclusion of a project born during and in response to the pandemic.

A body-sound-movement immersive performance for a darkened site and an open space to be connected through a walk
27 JUNE h 6:30 pm
Sa Manifattura
Public opening at the end of the Cagliari residency (June 21 – 24) for 25 people available for an experience that crosses light/dark, individual/group dimensions and includes a blindfolded walk (reservation required).
The central themes of the project – the wall as limitation and opportunity in close relation and connection with the body in presence, public space, and a playful approach to creation – have brought to light a new research engine: darkness. An intimate and frightening context will guide this last phase, inviting the exploration of darkness as a symbolic and physical environment, so as to question perceptions, hierarchies of the senses and the usual way of sharing signs and meanings. The residency will process materials to communicate primarily through sound and kinesthetic rather than visual channels, with the aim of producing a hybrid narrative around a silent element with liquid qualities not immediately associated with force, as is water, connected to a feminine and relational principle.
